SERVICES.
Do you dread the thought of performing your routine herd maintenance tasks? Perhaps the daily chores are no problem, but you are physically unable to take on the maintenance tasks. Maybe you have a handful of 'overzealous' animals that are reluctant to have a periodic pedicure. Let's be honest, maybe you just want a 'vacation' from it this time around. If any of these fit your situation, let us help!
**Toenail trims
**Body condition and/or FAMACHA evaluation
**Administration of your vaccines and/or medications
**Fecal egg counts and identification
**Blood draws
**Microchip insertion
A little about us: We are a couple of energetic, able-bodied alpaca farmers with strong work ethics, who have been in the biz since 2008. Jess is also a Veterinary Technician, with strong emphasis on camelid health. We handle all of our routine herd health and maintenance, and want to extend a helping hand to those who need it.
What we ask of you: Please provide a clean, weather-appropriate, working environment. Have your animals contained in a reasonable area prior to our arrival.
PRICING:
TRIP CHARGE:
$30 within 60 miles of our farm. $60 if 60 to 120 miles. Individual quote for beyond 120 miles.
HOURLY RATE:
$20 for one person (assumes you have someone capable to assist)
$30 for two people
ADDITIONAL FEES (not included in hourly rate):
Non-prescription meds provided by us (wormers, etc)
Syringes, needles, etc provided by us
Fecal egg counts and ID (per fecal)
Blood draws (per draw)
Microchip insertion (per chip)
Payment due on date of visit. Call or email for a quote.
